LCSW Clinical Supervision

I provide LCSW Supervision to qualified Licensed Masters Social Workers (LMSW's) in Tennessee.  My supervision sessions are provided in my office and in either an individual setting (you and I one on one) or as part of a group.  

As an LMSW, you require at least 100  supervisor - supervisee contact hours in addition to achieving your 3000 clinical hours.. At least 60 of your supervisory sessions must be conducted one on one with your supervisor but the rest may be done in a group with the supervisor facilitating.  LMSW's must have at least one supervision hour per each 30 clinical hours.   

Sessions with me can be held weekly for one hour, every other week (2 hours long), or we can meet on a monthly basis for 4 hours at a time.   Individual sessions are $85 each hour and group sessions are $50 each hour.    Sometimes the agency you work for will pay for supervision and it never hurts to ask!  If you do have to pay for it out of your pocket I can provide you with receipts so that you can deduct it from your taxes if you choose to.

My goal is to provide you with an enriching and safe community to learn.  Topics discussed will vary and will be tailored to meet your needs.  I make sure to cover the cases you are working with, possible ethical dilemmas we might encounter in our practice, finding your personal style, learning your strengths and areas of potential growth, and providing you with knowledge on how to be successful in your future career - despite which path you choose.   If you aspire to have a private practice I can help teach you the business side (like billing and marketing) that is typically not covered well in grad school.   You will be given my cell phone number so you can reach me quickly any time you have a problem, question or concern as you work with your clients in the clinical setting.  If you have any questions or would like to get started please contact me by email or with a phone call.
